I was so saddened by your news. Denise was such a caring, loving person. I’ve enjoyed so much of her garden produce too- jam, chutney and the much loved rhubarb. If there is anything I can do to support you all, please do contact me. My very best wishes. Louise Taylor

Dear Marc, Louis and Merlin, Both Jeremy and I are profoundly saddened to hear of the passing of dear Denise. She was a friend to us both in Leicester days, and I frequently relied heavily on her expert note-taking during lectures in the Medical Sciences Building. We always sat next to one another. We shared a house together for three years, and had many joyful times together. I remember Denise taking me to watch her very first flying lesson in Leicester, and clearly remember her excitement and the feeling of exhilaration as I watched her fly high in the blue sky with her instructor. I am missing her hugely, and always will. With love, Jeremy and Caroline
