John died peacefully of old age at home in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire on 21st January 2024.
He was 98. A life devoted to education. There will be a small private funeral and, later in the year, a memorial event.
It was a privilege to work with John on the NAPE Council and to learn from his great depth of knowledge and personal viewpoint of Primary School education. He influenced so many educators over so many years. Rest in peace, John.
Mrs Paddy Powell
John and Pam were such firm friends of my Mum and Dad over the years - many happy memories of Warren / Coe meet-ups and holidays. Dad ( Brian) will miss you. He is sorry to be unable to travel to the funeral to pay his respects.
Ms Dominie Walters
